Childhood Catch-ups

Asha and I went to elementary school together, what feels like approximately 300 years ago. It's so weird to say to each other that we feel like neither of us has changed. I can't speak for Asha, but that fact for me is really interesting. I've thought before that my adult self is more like my childhood self than the melodramatic angsty mess of my teenage years and the hot dumpster fire of my 20s. So that's a nice full circle return to a positive vibe. hahah

We had a lovely stroll in the park and caught up about life, family, teaching (we are also both teachers), and the Toronto housing insanity crisis. It was so great! Also so nice to talk to people again in a social and in-person way after a long winter and spring of lockdowns and tension.
