When Jennifer reached out to me to take some family photos for her, I had never heard the term "famiversary" before, but I love a good portmanteau! She wanted to celebrate the anniversary of her and her husband adopting their two sons. It really is a great word...the anniversary of the day they all became "family."
They invited me up to their beachy Georgian Bay cottage and we strolled along the water and took some awesome photos. Amid the waves and the wind I could see the love this family has for each other. Family is what you make it to be.
