Family Time

It was a long spring. What we thought was going to be three weeks of annoying, but temporary inconvenience, turned into literally an entire season of change. A week before the official start of spring we went into total shutdown, and now, on the summer solstice, we are beginning to open up and find a new way to be together.

During this shutdown, the hardest thing for me wasn't the stores closing, or losing income...I found being away from family the most difficult thing to endure. So now that we can officially hug our family and be with them in all the ways that mean the most, I feel rejuvenated and hopeful that we will find some equilibrium in this new normal.
