Back in the spring, when the pandemic changed everything, on top of all the other things to worry about, I worried about my business. In the summers, the biggest part of my portfolio is shooting weddings, and they were all postponed or cancelled due to travel restrictions. I really could not have predicted that there would be such a boom of family photo requests to fill in the space left behind!
I got to meet one branch of this family tree last winter doing family photos for Jacob's parents. It was so lovely when shortly after, Aynsley reached out to me to surprise her mom with a family photoshoot at their cottage.
I got to see baby Olivia change so much over the course of a few months. It's a pretty sweet part of my job when I have long term relationships with my clients!
